Hello, good people. We have been away for a bit and the homestead somehow managed to take care of itself. Also, the chickens made it.

One consolation is that where they raided, they also fertilised and weeded😂. Your beds are so ready for planting. The compost was spread and dug in beautifully 😅

The bigger problem is that the chickens are use to going into the garden. You're probably going to cover it all with a net or the chicken area.

Yoh I'd cry yi yi😂😂I heard that chickens do that but seeing it I didn't expect gore it was this bad. Askies I hope that you guys will be able to get thighs sorted soon

Wood chips are wonderful in the veggie garden path creating extra nutrition for you plants when it decomposes.

i’m trying to grow creeping thyme and a type of clover into my lawn so i have a lawn that never grows tall. it’s worth considering for you as well. also love that rock you are sitting on
