I am growing on on the road full time and I recently hit a bunch of bumps with my Pina! 😢 First she started to get some yellow leaves due to I think overwatering. I think I fixed that and I repotted her to help let her grow and now I’m seeing some white spots on her I’m trying to figure out what they are. They are smooth spots and after looking around I think it might be fertilizer burn. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I think I’m gonna get new dirt and just put her in there and remove the fertilized soil (it wasn’t liquid like I saw you suggested in another video).
@HomesteadinHawaii2 жыл бұрын
It’s hard to say without a picture and your location. Keep the plant warm, plenty of sun, plants doesn’t need too much fertilizer, even the liquid kind. Maybe only 1x per month, otherwise just plain water. Maybe let the soil dry between watering?

I have 2 pineapples growing right now in Pennsylvania. They are getting huge! Still no pineapples yet but they are only a little over a year old right now

@@HomesteadinHawaii I hope!!! Since it's summer & hot, I just put them in full sun all day & let nature do it's thing. I will water every so often if it doesn't rain for a few weeks but they seem to be growing great! Not sure what part of Hawaii you're in, but my thoughts are with all of you in regards to all the fires happening there.

Aloha! I drove through Oklahoma once, I was pleasantly surprised. Hawaii is a nice place, though too. At the end I say A Hui Hou! Till next time, or see you again in Hawaiian. Thanks for asking!

Thank you for sharing this with us. I live in the Netherlands and i wonder if i can bey these"slits" ( i don' t know how to write the name, but i think you know what i mean. Now if i import these slits they need to have an official government certeficate (document) that stats that these slits are free from harmful bacteria, pests or funchie. Do you know if it's posible?

I ship plants but it’s hard to ship internationally. Do you have pineapple with tops in the stores somewhere?
