I stayed at a Quality Inn in Grand Island, NE earlier in the year. They had what looked like a cool, "vintage" dive bar, but it was closed and appeared to be used for storage. I was disappointed, but my liver probably wasn't, haha. I was even more disappointed that the pool and hot tub (which had a similar vintage charm) were closed, as well. This is a cool concept for a review video!

Quality Inns are my go-to if I need somewhere to stay quick and cheap. Some are better than others but they seem to be Choice Hotels low-end properties nowadays. Thanks for posting!

The last time I went out drinking was in upstate New York a few months ago. There's just not many good places in small town Mississippi. Sorry to see Quality Inn close their bar.

They have The Grill and The American Legion then a LOT of Mexican Restaurants with bars. I have a video on The Grill.

@NOLAGent1 Will have to check that out -- we don't go drinking often, but we are spending a lot of time in Laurel and Hattiesburg lately.

Wilson's Commisary opened a nice bar in their new location but they close quite early. Buzzards Roost has a nice but expensive bar.
