Doesn't really work like that. I live here. I promise nothing is different, from the people, the culture, the weather... it's all the same. Can't just enter a new region of the country by simply crossing a bridge. Gotta get to the more rural areas. Either Cincinnati and NKY are both midwest or both southern... definitely midwest to me.

The place where they hold concerts also is very popular to sled at during the winter. I sled there with my family almost every winter and my family has a lost of fun, and funny stories. Lol!

Raised in Covington since 1964 and always a Reds and Bengal’s fan. Go Kentucky Wildcats!! You don’t realize how pretty the area is living there until you leave and go back. Love Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio. I’m moody for a Hude and Little Kings.

Same here but my dad is from Cincinnati and my mom from Covington they split so I grew up in Covington but went back and forth from Cincinnati all my life and now live in Cincinnati currently lol and I definitely like Cincinnati more due to diversity honestly as me being African American.

You should definitely visit Cincy if you ever get a chance. It's amazing. It's my home and I think it's the best city in the US. So much charm and the people are awesome. We take care of each other! Definitely a gem.

West covington lower price range.. riverfront downtown next to the licking river and newport upper price range

Newport for sure is a great area. Clifton is an up and coming area after OTR was developed over the last few years. It might be late for OTR investing but not Clifton or Mt. Lookout. Best of luck 🤞🏼 remember me for these 2 cents 😘

Do people in Northern Kentucky have a Southern accent like the rest of the state, or do people here sound more Midland American due to the proximity to Ohio?

No they do not. But 20 or 30 miles south they definitely have an accent. Cincinnati people have a different accent to the rest of Ohio as well

@@paulstewart2251 Cincinnati used to have a distinct accent that sounded somewhat Mid-Atlantic/Philadelphian, but in recent decades, it has evolved to be more General American due to Cincinnati's centralized location in the United States.

Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky has many different types of accents & influences in this region, some have east coast-ish accents, some have no accents, some people have southern accents, some have appalachian accents and more. It's a gumbo pot of accents and influences here. The Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Region is a mix between city and country because Cincinnati is the midwest and Northern Kentucky is the south. 💯

@Abdallah Brissam oak hills school district has good schools so does cincinnati public and north west local school and shouth west school district (which is technically Harrison Ohio but it's like 20 mins for downtown and great schools) so I would say check out those 4 districts 😊

Exactly but it's weird here tbh to the rest of the country Cincinnati is a extension of Kentucky but locally here we think Cincinnati is the big thing so nky is the extension I know personally because I'm literally from Covington across the bridge from Cincinnati so I know personally but my dad is from Cincinnati so I kinda grew up between both and even now its confusing lol I kinda claim both because I cleary have a Cincinnati dialect but also a appaliacian Kentucky accent as well when I'm here in Cincinnati in the suburbs I feel country but when I'n deeper in Kentucky I'm considered the city boy lol so being in this region can be confusing.
