Juicing cured my chronic allergies. In this video I show you my favorite juicing recipe, share my juicing testimony, and showcase my Nama Cold Press Juicer J2. Is our food really the root or our health?

Hi! My name is Kim. This year my family has decided to throw out all the conventional ways of easy cooking and convenience foods. We are moving towards a new way of life..more holistic, with whole foods, all organic, and home grown garden produce. Better food, better health, better life! I know it is going to be more planning and hard work...but what we eat is the most important thing that we do all day. Food is medicine or it is poison. I want to serve medicine to my family. Join us as we embark on this new journey. It will be full of progress and mistakes, as we try new things such as tinctures, salves, fermentations, canning, homesteading, gardening, and so much more. ❤️

I have been juicing for a while now, I was thought to not use plastic container, use glass jars Instead! Then to fill each jar right to the very top of the lid as it will keep all its ingredients and not air them out! Just wanted to share in case you would be interested! You doing a great thing for yourself and your family congrats! ❤

I think that is ok when you just put them in the fridge, but you can't fill them that full if you are going to put them in the freezer. It will expand and break the glass. She talked about this early on.

She was putting her juice in glass containers but to keep multiple jars good, she had to freeze the others. They expanded and her glass jars broke. Now, she said she is looking for freezer safe glass containers and in the meantime she is using these plastic containers.

Preach. I know exactly what you're talking about. I started juicing in 2011 bcuz of Dan The Man etc. I had horrible pain joint pain. I would war processed foods and instantly have pain. I stopped eating meat for 18mo. No more wheezing or pain. I was in cloud nine. Then one day I reverted. Now I'm back. Back n pain n wheezing. This time no more meat or dairy. I'm juicing daily and fast for 18hrs and eat in a 6 hr window. I'm also juicing daily. I can't do the processed foods n meat anymore

I have been juicing for nearly 40 years and have had many juicers over the decades. The Nama J2 is by FAR the best juicer EVER! It's a slow juicer so you get more nutrition, it leaves the pulp dryer so that you get more juice, and it lasts longer in the fridge. They do tell you to layer your fruits and veggies with the leafy greens on the bottom and if you have something juicy and fibrous like pineapple mix it with a harder veggie or fruit and you'll have no problem. Thanks for the video.

If you use mason jars you can get a vacuum sealer, then the juice tastes about the same on day 3 and 4 as it did on day 1. I haven’t made enough to last more than about 5 days, but it was still good at that point.

I want to confirm this also. I was allergic to everything. I went vegan and started juicing. After several weeks I was not suffering from my allergies anymore. I found out that sugar is a huge contributor my allergies. On that point it is certain sugars. I also noticed that processed foods were also terrible for my allergies and skin. Give it a try you have nothing to lose. The sugar would also cause me serious joint pain. I thought it was from being in the Army for so long. Nope turns out after removing sugar from my diet that went away too. I found kiwi was not good either.

I'm also juicing for the sinus inflammation. What we eat can irritate the gut and cause systemic inflammation. The high level inflammatory molecules in our bodies then cause other tissues to inflame: Sinuses (also smooth muscle tissue just like the guts so same reaction to those signaling chemicals ramped up by the gut irritation) and the chemicals irritate joints. Because joint fluid holds onto inflammatory signalling molecules and lectin proteins from plants the joints will hurt. Over time, the chronic inflammation in the joints will result in damage. Eliminate lectin containing plants according to Dr. Steven Gundry in his book, "The Plant Paradox". The paradox is that although we are told that all plants are good for us because they have vitamins but they can also have irritating proteins-- Two things can be true at once.

The reason you pay more for the red bell peppers is they are the same as the green/yellow but have ripened so further time invested by the growers. Those seeds will grow you green peppers initially. Hi from the UK.

I realize most people are looking at time and that’s what you’re valuing so that you can do other things you think you can cut corners but the truth is is you really shouldn’t be doing it this way You should juice every single day and you should drink it within 10 minutes of juicing and the reason for that is because of the live enzymes which are depleted that quick. After 10 minutes, your vegetables and some fruits start to oxidize and therefore it’s not as beneficial and if you’re waiting for days to three weeks, there’s no nutritional value to it that’s why it taste like crap. Your bodies that are intelligent, they can tell what’s good for even by taste and I’m not suggesting the things that the bad stuff in your body loves and craves because it’s controlling you because it’s tapped into your central nervous system and even your gut. Most people are running around with parasites in them and I have no idea why they have cravings that they have But if you were to just do juice fasting for let’s say 100 days like a doctor I watched recently she ended up clearing up her brain fog, mystery health issues, that she couldn’t figure out, and none of her colleagues could, and she had tried to short cut it for a long time she even tried juice fasting on her own, but really wasn’t getting it right so she went to somebody and she paid them for their time and their knowledge and experience and that person helped walk her through it. They had groups where they met online and they literally saw each other and talked about their experiences, she was passing all kinds of parasites, and of course, by the time she passed them, they were dead. This is how powerful juicing is, and you can pick up parasites from your pets. You can pick them up from anywhere, but you can absolutely get them from the foods that you eat or the things you call food that isn’t food like things that had eyeballs in the face. Those are not your foods The reason why I say this is because if it was your food, then like all animals and we are animals Because we’re mammals… You would not need to cook your food, because no animal nature does. I know that that’s hard for people to digest. They don’t want to give up their comfort they don’t wanna give up these things that they’re been consuming their grandparents vaguely to me, but let’s be honest these things are not as they used to be the nutrition isn’t available in the soil there for the plants don’t get it. The animals aren’t getting it either even though people have been convinced and fooled into believing that they do when they can, Sidestepper bypass or take that shortcut Is not possible my daughter will be 29 years old in the end of March. Unfortunately, the last time she went to a doctor and was suffering with lack of energy. Guess what it was? B12 deficiency, and she eats animals. They say that this is a deficiency that usually strikes people who are vegan or vegetarian well if anybody was really doing critical, thinking, they would know that if you’re doing any kind of animal byproduct, even though you might not be eating the animals whatever the animal has available to them should be in byproduct like dairy but it’s not. So a lot of people have been fooled and misled and they keep parroting these lies to themselves and to others Everybody’s looking to reserve time and trying to take shortcuts and this is another thing that our society suffers from because people don’t realize all the reasons they eat and a lot of times it is an actually hunger it’s thirst or it’s stress and what happens when you consume during a stressful episode all you’re doing is killing your nervous system Because chewing activate your vagus nerve And calms your vagus nerve so therefore, you could chew a healthy version of gum which the commercial gums are no good either. As time goes on, you learn about your body you start to see patterns you start to make notations as to what is causing you to eat more than necessary And you start figuring things out and start learning from other people, their experiences, their conversations, and the things that they were willing to share on social media or are you learn from paying close attention to yourself and your body, which is really the movement that we’re all in at this moment, and have been for quite some time Thankfully that movement is growing because we’re starting to make the connection that trusting other people to grow our food and charge us for it which means we lose time because we’re working more than we should having less time for ourselves for rest for our families for a passion just so we can buy food or quality food, which is even more expensive when you could be investing that money into producing your own, and it would yield you so much, and there’s so many ways to positively Maintain the qualities of those foods, but you really do need to eat with the seasons like our ancestors used to, so trying to stretch things because you want to have more time for I don’t know what doesn’t make any sense Our ancestors were all about growing food. It was to ensure their survival, and they actually had large family so those individuals would be able to help in their farming practices and then someone got the idea that they needed to commercialize it so they can get rich quick because what does it cost as opposed to what does a tomato cost? I mean you’re going to drop three dollars for a decent tomato, and yet you could be growing bushels in one season It’s really the way that we mentally process the information that we have and the truth is is that the majority still have limited information and they’re not open to new information which has been to their detriment. I am working on the stuff with my daughter and my son is actually going in the direction that I have been in the last 16 years and in my younger son has a knowledge but isn’t applying it right now because he’s allowing his emotional body to conquer, all of his fears and disappointments so he’s not doing what he should be doing to make himself more well-rounded And that’s the thing like you mentioned not having mood swings because of juicing absolutely if your body has optimal nutrition it’s not going to suffer as much as a person who is completely deficient in almost everything and if you’re relying on the food system as it is today, you can be sure that you are definitely deficient and also severely toxic There’s a lot of farming practices that are hurting the plants hurting the earth and hurting your body and the people that you were taking care of like your children, which is completely unacceptable, because in a court of law that could be construed as being involuntary manslaughter, you are contributing to someone’s Poisoning, but our society is excepting of that even the EPA is like oh well, you know so many parts per million is acceptable I realize we can’t be pristine clean if we’re lying other people who can’t be trustworthy and don’t have our best interest at heart, but we can change that and that does take time and time. It is not linear so you make the investment with your time your energy and your resources in the best place is possible you will save yourself a lot of money and you will find that you don’t have to work as hard for someone else so you can enjoy your life and that’s what it’s all about and in your golden years, you will not be lined up at the Social Security office. You will not be worried about what you can get for free and you also won’t be getting all of your money to the medical community who are not healers by the way they are.Sick care givers

This video is right on time for me! My allergist said the same thing about the medicine my PCP gave me as far as putting a Band-Aid on things but not really clearing up the issue. Right now I’m using the Band-Aid, because is the least expensive option, and it helps. But I really want to try a more natural option for my allergies. I was getting several sinus infections a year and I started off with just one. If juicing can help I’m definitely willing to try it. And now I have ATMs asthma bc it was uncontrolled for so long 😫 great info! Wish I could get that nama 😬 but I’m going to start with a nutribullet first.

Hm, I wouldn't force the kids to drink a glass of juice each day. Make it optional. Let them find out what they like and what they don't. And you do not eat the whole fruit or vegetable when drinking the juice. You cannot, as far as I know, replace a balanced diet with leaving off the veggies and drinking them instead. Also, you drink a lot of fruit sugar with the juices. I am in no way against juicing and doing it myself, but I don't feel it is necessary to "force" kids to drink homemade juices every day.

What does come out of 'plastics', and seeps into your juices or whatever you are juicing, do you know?!?! Stan.

These are food grade containers so I should be ok with nothing seeping. I do much prefer glass, but that didn't work out for me.

Hi Kim! Thankful for your video. My son suffers like you did from allergies. I want to try a natural approach to healing him. How much juice would you recommend he drink a day?
@homewithkim
@homewithkim 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kristina, I would start with a 1/4 cup and depending on how he likes it, move it up from there. By the third day I had my girls on 1 cup.

Juice and smoothie cured my allergies and sinus. I have a Nama j2 juicer and nutribullet Rx for my smoothies. I make enough batch last a week. I make my juice and smoothie once a week. My fridge is fill with about 12-14 (16 oz) jars each

Did you do juice fast or juice and food eating as normal? How long did it take because i have terrible allergies? Thanx
@WalkTheAncientPaths
@WalkTheAncientPaths Жыл бұрын
@@Katarina23 I first started by adding 2-3 jars of juice or smoothie to my regular meal daily. Once I noticed the changes in my body I started adding more juice & smoothie to my daily diet. If you are drinking 4 (16oz jars each) daily you will feel full that you won't feel hungry. But it is best to cut out sugar and candies, chocolate.... try your best to eat clean. No Prepackaged, canned, boxed food. I have some recipes on my Channel.
