I'm happy too that when our channel started to grow that this very first one did not get forgotten, even if the sound is a little patchy in it, and uploaded at lower quality (the internet was much slower for us back then!!). Just wish Janie and I were in this very first one - she was pregnant with Zelda at the time, and I was behind the camera the whole time!

I still prefer the looks of the antique stoves from the 1800s to the 1900s but this here is truly a beauty, you can be mistaken that its more than 100yrs old! Has a bit of modern touch that I like, the glass panel, just warms the heart right up to see the fire in there, wonderful! You Sir are keeping it these stoves alive! hats off to you from USA!

Thanks so much for posting this. My mom was raised on a farm. She came here to Mobile for nursing school and met my dad after the war. When i got old enough my parents would ship me off to the country to live a month up on the farm. They had cows chickens mule and pigs a big garden and magnificent old kitchen with wood stove. I built up quite an appetite bringing in water from the well out front and bringing in stove wood. Oh the magnificent smells that came from that old stove.
