I failed college algebra in college because the homework was too hard to handle and with it being virtual even just one slight meaningless mistake And you have to start over and it doesn’t tell you what you did wrong. College algebra made me hate mathematics and that was one of my favorite subjects in school. I even went and got help from tutors and I still struggled in that subject. I was in the tutors area almost every day and I still struggled.

There needs to be a system that punishes teachers and increases in severity depending on how much homework they give so they might actually get a glimpse of what the average high-school and up students feel. It's not okay when a student averages 2-3 hours of sleep a night and then gets yelled at for sleeping in their class, when/where am I supposed to sleep then? Teachers have no reason to care how much work they give to their classes because grading takes 1/16th of the time it takes the students to do the assessments.

We didn’t say, "Throw away all homework and make us do absolutely nothing." It's that we sometimes get too much to handle, and it's extremely tiring, and eats up free time. Plus, teachers also have to spend some of their time on grading everyone, which also seems to take a while. (I'm pretty sure robots don't grade everything.) It'd probably be easier if the workload is less for students, and teachers also have less as well. There's already tests and reviews in school to see how much we learn. We already have lessons in class we learn from, and pay attention to. Sure, we should still keep homework, but not make the amount unnecessarily long. TLDR: I think you may have misunderstood their point. They said to give less homework, not remove homework entirely.

From what we did/do in school. We can't even prove we didn't have others to make the homework for us, so homework makes no sense. There's nothing relevant i'd miss learning without homework. I'd even know about prime number, which i still at the age 31, still don't understand why is needed to be learned about.
