Well, I completely agree with what the speaker said: lying is destructive. Will it effect your health? Absolutely,...as duplicity would certianly cause cerebral stress, which would in turn cause corporeal stress, which would then cause things like hyper-tension, fatty deposits from cortisol (aka heart disease), strokes, et cetera. I recently read a study that showed that people who have a reason to live (like rescuing animals) live longer, and the study said that that was mainly due to cardiovascular health. And lying would certainly cause problems in relationships which. discounting emotional pain, would then exacerbate all of the health issues that I just named. We cannot connect...or be who we are destined to be...within the miasma that comes about by living with lies. But, the opposite is quite true as well: If we exist in an environment of truth, then we see both ourselves and each other, and then...ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

There could be situations where lying would be the right thing to do. In general, it's better to be honest and tell the truth, but there could be specific situations, where under specific circumstances, telling the truth would be a terrible thing to do, where lying would be the right thing to do, where even the people who say you should never lie, would lie as well if they themselves were in such a situation.

Yeah, but if somebody wanted to know something that they thought was really important to them, but would get your livelyhood taken away from you, and you told them a lie and they killed you for it, it's best to just walk away. If they follow you, tell them you're getting the police. If they threaten you, run for your life, and I mean run. If it's just about small things like taking your medicine, if you lie and say you took your pills when you didn't, oh my gosh! That's bad! Proverbs 10 I think is where it says a Liar will not go unpunished! It's best to tell the truth at all times. I have an issue of lying, which is just not what I should be doing. I know lying is not okay, but sometimes, I just lie when I feel like I'm gonna get in trouble, when my gut gets that Uh oh fealling, and I can't control it.

today my brother was lying so much he was coming home from his friends house he was burned as crisp he had a huge sunburn we knew he had his swimshirt off he did not admit to having it off which it was protected against having sunburns he was beat red he kept on telling my mom and dad he had his swim shirt on which they knew he was lying they kept telling him he wasnt in trouble but kept lying i think he wanted to get in trouble and the next day his friends were going out to a waterpark my parents didnt let him go cause he was burnt he couldnt swim he couldnt go underwater all that he was undoubtley

I think it was just an attempt to try to scare people into always telling the truth, even if someone were to ask them an extremely personal question that's none of their business. I bet that even the person themself in the video doesn't tell the truth all the time about every single thing in every single sentence, just like how you yourself probably don't either.
