Not sure about that but unupgraded skeletons should be more beneficial for the gains. Upgraded skeletons gains should be smaller in comparison to normal ones. I am in minority but my fav unit in necropolis are dragons.

Interesting points! About the Skeletons-if I understand you correctly, you're saying unupgraded Skeletons might result in better Necromancy gains? I don’t think that’s the case, as the number of Skeletons raised is tied to the Necromancy percentage, not whether they’re upgraded or not. But maybe I misunderstood what you meant? Also, loving that you’re a fan of the Ghost Dragons! Most people focus on Skeletons and Vampire Lords when playing Necropolis, but Ghost Dragons are definitely underrated with their speed and morale-lowering ability. I’d love to hear more about how you use them in your strategy!

if they're raised as upgraded skeletons you only get 66% of what you would get as normal skeletons.

As soon as I read that, it triggered a flash memory of Resurrection mechanics, and now I’m questioning everything about this strategy! This is such an important point. It really makes me wonder: is it better to settle for fewer Skeleton Warriors after each fight for that sweet +1 speed, or should I stick to raising more and more regular Skeletons for the sheer numbers? Thank you so much for the reminder-it’s definitely something I’ll need to consider more carefully in future games! Gosh, I am so happy I started this channel :D

That is the tough decision every necro player needs to decide - skeleton speed or numbers. It's one of the reasons why Galthran is actually the best necro hero, becsuse he kinda gives you both. His base skeletons are the same speed as warriors on other heroes, but much stronger in att/Def.
