Ever wondered how to deal with homophobic remarks? Ever felt frustrated that you can’t seem to explain LGBT rights to homophobic people?
In this video I share a tried and tested method to shut down homophobia every time. It focuses on self confidence and standing your ground.
This is an incredible method for stopping homophobia every single time. No matter where you are or who you are, it really works. Never again get frustrated with homophobic remarks or comments. You can even use this to deal with homophobic families or colleagues.
Don't let homophobia, queerphobia or transphobia win. Stop it in your tracks with this simple method.
Here’s how to do it…

the "problem" is religious ppl that says "but the bible said..." when u tell them "why do u care"... like some people think that God doesnt like lgbt... but God respects everyone lol (im an atheist but thats the statment i made while reading holy books)

Thank you for the tips Mark. I am closeted bisexual man and currently don't feel right to come out. Uncertain about how my family would respond. At the end of the day what matters is the individual happiness of queers. Can you please make a video/guide me on how do I find peace, happiness and groundedness while being closeted.

My friend thank you so much for this. You are so valid being exactly where you are and deserve to be so proud of where you’re at. This is an excellent idea and I thank you for suggesting it. I definitely will make a video on this and I’d love to get your feedback. If you can, can you tel me more about you and what challenges you are facing in your current situation? The more you can say about how it feels the more I can reflect and hopefully make some content that’s healing for you. I’m always here to chat as well. I know how it feels myself to be in that space. Sending so much love to you and thanks again x

@@notdefiningI am Kuldeep Soni from India we've talked before on Instagram. I am quite young actually, 19 years old currently studying in college, I am blessed to have parents who are very loving, supporting and understanding. And I am safe as well to come out. My parents are completely unaware about sexuality and same sex relationships and polyamory. Coming out as bisexual and polyamorist now they may just brush it off by saying it's the hormones you are just straight. Or they may use the word 'atleast' to address that I am attracted to opposite sex. This way they may not allow me date a man.

Thanks so much Kuldeep. This is really helpful. I’m thinking to make two videos. One could be about how to find wholeness and peace in yourself while still not out. And the other could be navigating conversations with hostile parents. What do you think? I feel so much for you in this situation. You deserve so much happiness and I know you’re going to get there. Sending massive love to you x

@@notdefining Impressive! I would love to receive that guidance from you. Thanks a ton for all the support and kindness. I highly appreciate that. 😃 Coming out is indeed a significant process for both parents and their queer kids. I believe that my parents would definitely be pretty chill upon learning about my sexuality, its just that they will have a hard time to unlearn internalized queerphobia they have and I would be more than happy to educate them regarding the same.

That’s so great to know that they would probably be willing to learn. I’ve been thinking of doing a video for parents and partners so that people can just show them the video and it helps to talk them through things. You’re doing great my friend. I’m so proud of you every day. This stuff can be tough so take it easy ok? Do something nice for yourself today. You deserve it.

#3! “just let it sit!”

The fact that the one and only Ross Victory watches my videos makes me so honoured. I feel like I’m just a humble fan! Thank you for your comments. They really help me out. Yes! LET IT SIT! Haha. I hope this resonates. I’ve given up trying to enter in because it’s like...”let’s just leave that comment for the stupidity that it is”. Maybe raise one eyebrow and say “ok, moving on...!” How do you deal with these conversations Ross? Do you get drawn in? Or do you rise above? I hope you do NOT have to deal with them much. Sending love to you my wonderful friend x

Use more positive language. A statement cant “undermine” anything unless it comes under the form of a law. You could tell that person “that statement belongs in a senate not here”. And still go on about your day. You have the power.
