So 1 quart/bottle of oil in total. Or it needs 2 quarts for a complete oil change???

@@yasokts I always get more when purchasing. Depending on how hot you have it more may drain out. Put a quart in it and ride it like the other comment, let it sit for 30 mins and check it again.

You initially fill it and then run it and check again because it has an oil cooler that needs to fill back up. It will always take more after the initial fill.

@@jasongreiner7639 I agree with your comment completely. Some start it and let it idle and warm up which isn’t properly running these motors to heat them up so less oil will most likely drain that way. But I agree with a quart, run it, let it sit for about 30 minutes and then check it again to be safe. Appreciate the feedback and guidance!

I’ve been a Honda tech for 15 plus yrs. The torque spec is there for a reason. Good video though

I thought you’re supposed to check the level on the dipstick without screwing in?
@StephenRamsey10 ай бұрын
I’ve always screwed them in since that’s where the oil level is sitting when it’s settled and how much oil it will be running on when screwed in. I’ve always figured without screwing it in, you run the risk of over filling it. Just my thought process.

Nice man where do u get crush washers for this also would this be the same for a 2007 trx 250 ex???

@@emmanuelruiz7308 I believe the size of the drain plug is the same size. And you can get them a few places, in oil change kits, Honda car and atv dealers have them, or if you know the size advance and autozone offer them through online orders (vendor direct).
