Put a new cam chain in then Adjust the valves tried the same kit no good ended up buying a 400ex carb runs good any questions have a lot of experience with my old x have fun

How do you adjust the compression release ?

A chinese repop carb is $52. I think these are the way to go instead of rebuilding the old one. Sure, keep the old carb but you probably never need it.

In a pinch, I'd use one..but, most times, things dont line up..The stock Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha carbs are worth money and they always sell on the market..especially 350 x suff and I've always had bad luck with the aftermarket, non OEM carbs. The stock Japanese carbs are easy to rebuild with ethanol friendly parts and will last forever, unless someone has messed with it and broke vital pieces of the carb. Rebuild the old one and keep it original, if you can. Thanks Keith 2guys how2
