I got P0339 HONDA CKP SENSOR A CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT (too) on my 2008 4 cyl Honda Acord. ... My INNOVA OBD2 scanner also pulled a 10 second BATTERY Monitor scan test resulting in 11.84 VOLTS (at ECM vs 12.5v at my battery terminals) ... while saying: "BELOW ACCEPTABLE LIMITS". ... I believe my small 4 cylinder Napa battery has been reading marginally lower voltage for a couple years plus (& possibly the biggest source of my problem). I also believe some higher end batteries of same small size would retain higher voltage. My Choice now is: I am going up to the 24F larger size battery (spec 6 cylinder Accords) in AGM format as my best long term fix. I lost Engine torque when that code tripped. ... Erasing that code with my Innova scanner after study resulted in no more problems or codes returning (so far/ even though my 24F AGM battery order in progress makes that a near future project). ... My two cents as a past mechanic shop owner who still does all my own wrenching :+)

Yessir ... when these cars were new... the Civic style 51R battery was fine... once they start get older... you need more cranking amps to turn over the engine. Getting a bigger 35 or 24F which has 200 more cranking amps also saves the starter from early replacement. Honda/Acura did bad with these smaller batteries just to save fuel.

Getting exactly same symptoms, cranks and runs fine for 15-20 minutes and after full hot, it dies on the spot and won't start. After 10 minutes, it starts back up. Dealer replaced new crank sensor, but still getting these on Honda Accord 2013 EXL V6 at 100k. No luck yet.

I have a 2012 Honda Accord wit cylinder 2 3 & a random misfire also a crankshaft code up car engine light flashes & wont go pass 3000 rpm any thoughts ?

It could be the distributor, ignition coil inside the distributor, alternator, or the crankshaft sensor. I have the same issue and trying to solve it. I changed my spark plugs and ignition wires. Added new oil. Still got a code P1381 code. Going to try changing crankshaft and ignition coil inside in the distributor for my car.

I replaced the crank shaft sensor today in my Honda accord 08 but my viden scanner does't have the relearn option to calibrate the CKP sensor.

That relearn procedure has to be done, else the pcm does NOT recognize the new part and adapt to the data.

Crank but no start(similar to ign modules too), Starts and drives fine when cold/warm ... when fully hot the car dies on the spot and won't crank back up until the engine is cool. The car's ECU limits you to a mere 2000 rpms and giving it anything past that will make the engine detonate and sound like a bag of marbles..
