Great video this my friend, I had a 250rs from 1997-1999. I seem to remember having the square headlight. Such a reliable motor. Great job with this video ❤️

Thanks! Yes, indeed, it had a square headlight originally. :) Cheers.

I also have a CB250RS, and really enjoyed your video. You've done a great job restoring it 👏 👍

Cheers. I have just installed a new pair of rear shocks on it too, since the original ones began to leak oil and they cannot be opened. Will post a video in the coming days. Thanks for your comment.

Also my first bike. Later my wife used the bike during our holiday in France, somewhere in the 80’s. Nice to see you keep this old girl alive!

Lovely restoration - so glad you didn't go for the "cafe racer" look, it was beautiful when it was designed in 1981, and it still is (although IMHO it would look better with a square headlamp!) - looks so much better without the badges and the blue stripe from the black model :)

Thanks for your comment. 🙂 I didn't want to chop it as it won't be classified under the classic scheme here, and moreover I really like its design too. Re. The square headlight, I kept the original headlight, indicators and mirrors. I may install them back in the future. 😊 Cheers.

I own a 1983 CB250RS. It doesn’t look as pretty as yours though!! Great video and well done for a great restoration.

Cheers! Thank you. Your '83 is with electric start then. :) I have changed the rear shocks recently as one of them started leaking and they cannot be opened to refill and change the seal, so I had to buy a new pair. I'll post a video in the coming days. Have a nice day!

Hello, really nice little bike. How tall are you? I want to know if i am to tall for the bike with 185cm.
@oldschoolgrech4 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks, I am around 6 feet tall. So about 182.88 cm. I feel good on it, although I look a bit big on it honestly, as it is quite slim. I suggest to ride it prior buying it (if you are to buy one). 🙂
