I’ve been watching numerous projects online, this one still by far my favorite. Everything makes sense, the proportions are perfect and the color scheme, even using primary colors, doesn’t look obvious and match perfectly together at same time. Also the red and white pays tribute for a Japanese brand. Respect from Brazil.

Thank you. Glad you like it. A pity I don’t get much time to ride it

For The Bold thanks for the answer. A question, if you don’t mind: do you think this project would match a smaller bike? Like a cb350?

Back in the 80s when I was a courier in London, CX500s were the workhorses. Ugly but dependable. Nobody rode those for fun, the butt of many jokes, but never failed. CB250/400Ns, CB250s, XS250s and CX650s were also the intrepid dispatch riders trusted steeds. Most kept their RD500s, RG500s, CB1100s, GPZ750/1100s, Z1100R Eddie Lawsons and Bimotas for the weekends. Them were the days. Never thought I would ever see a CX cafe racer!! Amazing!!

The knowledge is gained from perpetual screwup. I finally started putting the tools together, as far as space goes. I live in some really cold ass climates, so I bought a camping awning that is collapsible, typically used for shade during picnics, and put the included wrap on it 3/4 of the way. Keeps the cold out. You’re limited by your own determination.
@lars-lennartkoller41485 жыл бұрын
@@TheDraindeimo I only can agree. I have only a garage for one car. But over the last 2 years I installed a good mechanikal shop here. Knowledge came from learning by doing, tools came piece for piece. Built wo cars in the last two years. Now I'm going to do bike. Everybody told me, that I have not enough space/time/money/tools/expirience/knowledge or whatever. But I started and it worked. If there's a will, there's a way

That’s the thing. To strip them all the way down it’s time and money. I see a lot of quick conversions where the bike isn’t stripped down to the frame and my only problem with that is it doesn’t give you chance to see what needs repairing on a 40 year old bike. Maybe one day when you have the time?
