Good choice Sean. Have used these for years on my cars and cleaning them is easy. Every vehicle should have a reusable filter as standard

Cheers buddy, I've used these on some of my previous cars too and they have always been great.

Something I've never considered, perhaps I should give it some thought 👍
@BMCMOTOUK Жыл бұрын
The reason I fitted one was it will last a lifetime and it can be washed so it's better for the environment as your not filling up landfill sites with old filters. Hope your well Michelo

@michelod.i.y.5202 Nice one Michelo. The weather up here has been OK but the roads are damp and riddled with salt so my bike is still tucked up in the garage 😒

@@BMCMOTOUK was frosty here this morning, but strangely enough very salting had happened, still gave the bike a wash when I got back 😁

That's the key, giving it a hose down when the roads are salty. The roads were iced up here at 4am when I was heading in to work

Morning Sean job well done good filters K&N are. 👍🏍️
@BMCMOTOUK Жыл бұрын
Hi Derek, yes they are good filters and if you keep the vehicle for a few years then fitting a KN filter is a wise decision. Good for the environment and also saves you buying new filters! Hope your well buddy 👍

Hi there, really nice and detailed video. I need to remove my fuel tank to replace it and your video is really helpful! The only thing that troubles me is the fuel pressure. In the manual it says that I should disconnect the fuel pump wire and turn on the engine until it stalls. Can you tell me did you do any of that and after you installed everything how did you start the engine? Thanks!
@BMCMOTOUK6 ай бұрын
Hi, I didn't disconnect the fuel pump or run the engine until it stalled. Instead, I just disconnected the pipes and wiring and lifted the tank off with only a tiny bit of fuel escaping. I've done this procedure on my Suzuki GSX1250 and also on an Africa Twin and never had an issue. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching

@@BMCMOTOUK Thank you a lot for a quick answer! Do you maybe have or know about a tutorial on how to remove and reinstall the fuel pump?
@BMCMOTOUK6 ай бұрын
@antoniomajstor9388 reinstalling the fuel pump should be simple enough and basically the reverse of renoval however, I'd probably renew the seals on it if your reinstalling the same one you've taken out. I haven't covered this on any of my bikes yet as I've had no need to but if you search on KZbin for motorcycle fuel pump removal then that should throw up some results as fuel pumps are practically the same for all bikes albeit some may look different depending on manufacturer. Hope this helps

you can hold the tank up.. less space but less issues if air gets in the lines later.
@BMCMOTOUK11 ай бұрын
You absolutely can hold the tank up buddy. Re air getting into the system, that would be pretty hard due to the one way valves plus the system would self bleed
