Amazing! 1st of all great time laps. 2nd No idea where to start so many questions. Thats is so cool you made your own side pannels. You have jumped up to a new level in your builds. The bike looks amazing. Great motor for a cafe bike. Happy New Year.

@@MotoMango it’s a pastel blue with a bit of purple hue. Called Nautical Blue. Kind of peaceful. I was painting it a very light green, also pastel but after one wall, looked shitty.

@@MotoMango well, $150 and a round trip to north Kansas City, for a GL500 like mine but was missing heads, signed Iowa title, but owners passed away around 2010ish. So mechanical & adminstative work to be done.

I liked these bikes back in the day..... they were fast/fun = deadly too. I just saw a bike get trashed & "moto mango" was on the bottom of a collection of bikes having bad days. Was that you? Well, I hope all was salvaged(health) & I'd love to have a build like you've done here. Anyhoo, when I find the bike I'll be back to figure out how to get the work done. peace

Love the nighthawks! Haha yeahhhh, I've got a couple crash videos out there 🤦♂️
@diggy-d8w8 ай бұрын
I'm a new sub so I'm not entirely sure of what "You" like in bikes but I had a Kz1000 & had you been alive/riding back then you'd have loved it b/c that was fast for the technology of the day. I like how you're grabbing these bikes now & making stylish cafe racers out of them. Really it's quite smart b/c these bikes are cheap & other than the 3-4 carbs on them, not too difficult to change into a cafe bike. And doing 125mph on my Kz1000 is kinda like doing 160 on a R1 ~ So was that you that crashed a cafe bike? Wherever I saw that was where I learned about you & came right over b/c I know where a couple of these bikes are sitting. One day, who knows? peace & thanks for the post
@MotoMango8 ай бұрын
Yeah, that was me that crash the cafe bike :( I love the KZs! Such sick bikes!! Appreciate ya dude 👊🍻
@diggy-d8w8 ай бұрын
I gotta say, you've got some serious talents/gifts & I'm sorry about that crash.... nature of the beast & you didn't get too hurt thru that. And I'm not taking a poke at ya, it was the bike that caught my eyes. And I guess there's a few guys out taking the 1975-1995 bikes & building them? I haven't had time to really look thru your channel but you've got me thinking about something similar except I'm not able to do all the work. Anyhoo, thanks for taking the time to share/post up. I'll be yelling about something. peace man
