I can only imagine how immensely satisfying the ride was after all that hard work. Great job on the build!

It's still pretty awesome riding this thing. Every time I walk away from it, I look back at it in appreciation. Thanks for watching!

I’ve loved this build. This video must have taken so many hours to make. Well done. Very therapeutic

Thanks bro :) It took some time putting all the footage together for sure, but it was kind of cool to see it come to life again xD

Crazy, I just stumbled across your page. I just bought this bike over the past weekend in WA. Although it was completely torn apart, your videos are nice to watch through to see the work that was put into it. I'd love to chat with you about it, especially the reason you let it go! thanks,

Yeah, I saw that posted on his Facebook:( I was super sad to see he did that. I build bikes and sell them. Feel free to reach out over email or IG. Enjoy the bike dude, it fricken rips!

Sold mine to start on a k100 cafe build then got hit by a car a month later, still bummed about not having the hawk anymore but I am glad the k100 got totalled and not the nighthawk
@MotoMango Жыл бұрын
Dang dude so sorry to hear that! Hopefully you'll find another Nighthawk in the future 🤞 I sold mine and regret it as well... I need more shop space for all the motorcycles I wanna keep 😅

I really LOVE this build!! I just bought my own cb750 nighthawk ‘84 and turning my beast in to a brat build. Was wondering is you have any tips for the kabels (previous owner cut alot of the cables) do you know a good workplace book?? Thanks in advance!!! 🤘🤓

Shoot me a DM on IG or my Gmail! I've got a PDF for you for the manual :) and for parts like cables try partzilla, 4into1.com, or cmsnl.com (OEM but spendy). Thanks mate! 🙏😁

Great build. What was all the camshaft and timing chain business going on? Was it just maintenance or were you able to find performance cams for that particular bike? Thank you.
@MotoMango7 ай бұрын
Just maintenance. The cam chain tensioner was bad so the cam chain was a little loose. You can apparently mod the timing for lower end torque, but I like how the bike rides.

Did you keep track of work hours spent with it? I feel like i spend at least half of the time just staring and fantasising what it will look when finnished.. 😂
@MotoMango2 жыл бұрын
haha I did not keep track of my hours. I feel like if I did, I'd stop building for fun 🤣😭

It took about 4 months of building and spent some weekday evenings and most weekends working on it

Did you eventually find the cause of that stalling when engine was hot ?
@MotoMango4 ай бұрын
The spark generator was bad! Resistance would build up when it got hot. I replaced that and voila!

You can always use a universal throttle cable too. Just needs to be the right length and plug
