I’m having a nightmare with the same bike. It’s my dads who can’t ride the bike anymore. Been stored in his workshop for 5-6 years without running. It’s had a full service, tank flushed, new pump and filters. I can’t get the bike to prime when I turn the ignition on. FI light stays on. Tried swapping relays, have 11.5v at the plug for the pump. Pump works when attached direct to battery. Tried to bypass the bank angle sensor but still no luck. Any recommendations on what to try next?

I was going to bet on the bank angle sensor, what about the kill switch? The red rocker switch on the right clip on, can you test that? Let me know

@@AlbesADV thanks for responding! I’m very grateful! The switch works so I’m assuming that’s not the issue. When the kill switch is on the FI warning goes out. Come back on when switched back. I’ve only tried disabling the bank angle sensor. Am I right in thinking it’s the two outer wire on the plug that need joining to do so? Also, I can’t get my head round the fact the plug to the pump gives 11.5v but the pump does nothing. What on Earth stops it from pumping in this case?

@chrisevans5154 if you have power at the plug the pump should run, there is nothing between the plug and the pump unless there is something shorting in between. You said the plug has power and when you directly wire the pump it runs? If that's the case I'm out of solutions unless the plug itself is broken somehow 🤔
