Honda CBR650F OEM Seat Cowl

Each of the 3 pieces of the cowl has its own part number stamped into it. So while the numbers you see stamped on the bottom might help you source a used part, I can’t find my order to confirm, but I think the actual part number for this 2014+ and related (US) matte black color is 08F70-MJE-D00ZD. On the Honda Powersports website, I see 08F70-MJE-D00ZB as the current red passenger seat cowl.
Mine came assembled like this. I saw a few other videos on KZbin that required assembly, so it's possible a) they changed it b) it differs by region c) those are not genuine Honda parts. I think it's C but don't know.
Mine cracked during my first installation because I was kind of rushing it. I complained to the vendor and they gave me a small partial refund. Other than that, I paid full price, no relation to any companies/vendors, yada yada.

I actually use them all the time, it’s comfy to rest my feet back there. Otherwise I would, because it looks better without them. I take them off for the track.

Yeah I'd say that money can definitely be better spent elsewhere if someone's on a budget. But since I already have mine, I do like the look. I used to ride with a passenger about once or twice a year, but now that I also have a touring bike that's down to zero, so eh, I keep it on.
