Can't believe what I just watched. Took this bike for a test run in it's first colour scheme, when it was for sale at the "Zwarte Arend" (Black Eagle) Been riding CBX's from day 1. Eventually I ended up with a Nico Bakker. Great story!!

Thanks a lot, I wonder why you did not buy it at the time, not convinced enough by the bike, or not enough Belgian Franck's at the time? For me it was great to get in contact with 3 of the previous owners, Dave was very helpful and shared many information & pictures with me, which was great. Awesome build! Really good job! I really enjoyed watching the restoration videos you made. I recently bought a martin cbx. It was sleeping in a garage for 22 years. It's fully original except the exhaust they changed. So, going to look for a 6-1 martin as well as you did. I am excited to start the rebuild! Cheers

Thanks a lot, finding the parts was part of the challenge, I have seen only 3 martin CBX exhaust for sale in the last 5 years or so, so gut luck with that one. Jolie remise en mode origine cette Martin, et avec le 6 cylindres CBX HONDA, le cadre Martin s'associe au mieux avec ce moteur. Une des plus belles réalisations de chez Martin à l'époque. Tout y est, tête de fourche, coque complète et même le 6/1 Martin, belle préparation, belle peinture,🏍️👌 tout y est, comme à l'époque ! Georges Martin savait y faire dans son atelier d'Olonnes sur Mer, bien sympa, j'étais fan de ses préparations à l'époque. Prenez en soin, c'est du collector ! Bravo 👏.
