Honda CD200 Benly Resto - Tearing down the bike and removing the engine

Part 2 - Teardown time! In this instalment I'll be getting into dismantling the bike, mainly to get the engine out. You'll also be treated to an exciting guest performance from my glamorous assistant, Claira Watson Parr.

Hi mate! I know it’s an old video so no guarantee to a reply. But I have a question! When you pulled off the rear swing arm - did you have spacers inbetween the swing arm and the frame? Or was it just the bushings & dust caps? Thanks!

Actually the swing-arm's still on it. This project has fallen into a coma at the moment, but I will focus on it when it wakes up just in case.

@@TooManyProjects we're you getting your piston rings from I'm looking for some but original rings are expensive and the aftermarket ones never fit properly

They're aftermarket. They match the new pistons I got though, so I'm hopeful. All the new parts I've bought so far are from WeMoto in Brighton. New videos are in the pipeline! Should get the engine back together soon.

11:00 Come on.. it's a JIS screw not a phillips. No need to use impact on them if you have the correct bit. These old mechanics recommending impacts don't know what they're on about
