Hi there, u are very good at what you , I wish I could send u my 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500E classic motor to rebuild for me , I bought the motorcycle from a auction an it said mechanical damage , I assumed it was something minor, but when I was examining the motor the connecting rod came apart an made whole an punched the starter right out of its place , so now I’m stuck an can’t find a motor for it , wish u was my neighbor to assist me

Is it me or one of the valve springs was put backwards? cuz the part where the spirals are closer together usually goes at the bottom.

You are correct , tight wound to the head . The valve will Float at higher RPM
