Replacing the piston TWH 54mm, which is slightly higher than the previous one.
Adjusting the compression ratio and squish, as well as the synchronization of the valve timing on a two-stroke Honda Dio AF18E engine.

Complimenti per il video , hai fatto un lavoro davvero stupendo . Sei riuscito a risolvere tutti i problemi che aveva il gruppo termico TWH , creando pezzi da 0 . Ti ammiro molto. Volevo solo aggiungere di controllare anche il volume (CL/L) del carter motore , molte persone ignorano l'importanza di un corretto riempimento del carter , questa è solo una mia idea per il resto tu hai fatto un lavoro davvero incredibile. Amo i 2t e video come i tuoi non se ne trovano proprio ,sei bravo

You put a lot of work into this work! I'm amazed! A lot of work on a lathe and drill. Or maybe you will be interested in my proposal of a two-stroke internal combustion engine. It is ventilated when flushing channels are used, which is standard. However, the outlet is controlled by four valves located in the head. Lubrication was carried out by a pressure-flow system, i.e. through micro-holes in the connecting rod in series. A detailed description of this engine is published on my website. Before, there were better opening angles, you had to widen the channels downwards and shorten the cylinder on the upper side. Measure the overflow/exhaust overlap for resonance calculation. But the cylinder will not have enough cooling anyway.

Nice work... It is a good idea to grind the intake and exhaust channels according to the piston and to smooth them or to polish. That way we get a few extra horses...

Вы большой молодец и я хочу вам только добра .Поршень с такой толщиной стенки заклинит поверьте мне я через это не раз проходил или шарошкой снимайте с внутренней стороны до нужных значений или меняйте его .В таком виде заклинит.

Why not just drop the height of the ports down to match the top of the piston at BDC ? Duration would be the same but surely you would make gains in flow due to increase of port area? Great video, really enjoy watching your processes & innovative engineering ideas. Keep up the great work 🛠️

Duration increases if your opening by lowering port floor although it's what I would do after shortening cylinder by machining base. Should also remove same amount from spigot going into crankcase.

If at bottom dead center the bottom edges of transfer ports and exhaust port do not match with the piston's top edge the losses are MINOR (= waste of time to align them). But regarding the top edges of transfer ports and exhaust ports, even differences of just 0,1mm in height have impressive influence.
