How would I go about testing if the sensor itself it good or bad?

Can this be the problem on a honda cr-v 2017?

I'm unsure but if your getting the check charge system and you also have this part connected to your battery. Then you can try and replace it to see if the issue will get resolved. All Hondas in that year range have similar parts. Hope this helps

Maybe the battery terminals need to be clean. Idk, but this was the last thing I did and it worked. Still have not had this come up since

Can this cause car to not start sometimes?
@randomdiyvideos27639 ай бұрын
No, I don't believe so, it would just show on the dash "check charging system" If the car starts sometimes, then have the battery check, because even though it says its good, the cranking may be to low.

Did you ever figure it out? I’m working on a 2015 accord sport 6 spd. I got traction control, abs,brake,srs,power steering light, Tpms, abc battery light all on 🥴 it also says check charging system.. I changed the battery. But sometimes it doesn’t start and if I jump it, it shuts off. I’m guessing it’s these battery sensor

@@jonathan61237 no, I bought a new battery and a new OEM battery sensor from Honda. Changed both and it still gave me all the lights on the dash. Ultimately ended up getting a new OEM alternator from Honda and that fixed all the lights and the car is back running like it should..
