Excellent Instructions/tutorial! Thanks very much DIYHonda! Needed to do this to replace sun-damaged headlight lenses. Knocked the whole job out in the driveway (even without ramps) in 3 hours start/finish (included cleaning up the engine bay).

It was scary enough when the plastic wheel well gave up going 50mph, dragging me towards the cement jersey barrier before it ripped completely off. Been stressing me out for a while now.

I have done one before but I believe you have to change out the headlights, bracket under headlights, and also the plastic fender spacers. Don't quote me on that, its been a while since I did one of those conversions.

An allen wrench will work also, but I do not think a T35 will work.

The grill is attached to the bumper with 3 of the same two-part clips as the hood latch trim. They undo exactly the same as in the video.

Robert Nguyen yes - any bumper from 06-11 will fit on any civic from 06-11, as long as the bumper and the car are both 4dr or 2dr. Just can’t mix 2dr bumper and 4dr car or vice versa, but you can mix and match any of those years
