You can do it. Just be careful with the clips. I broke a few of mine but it went back together without a problem. I just used a flat top screw driver to lift the corners up to get my finger tips under then I gently pulled out

Brother how did you took off that small black fasters ?? i got the two big ones by pushing those in but not been able to open the black ones ? can you pls tell hoe did you manage to took them off ? from the inside of the trunk or outside?

All I did was slightly slide a wide flat top screwdriver under the out side of the taillights until I was able to get my finger tips under the edge of the tail light to pull it out hope that helps

So i followed everything. Bought the exact same camera, installed all good. Buuuuuuutttttt...when the camera comes on the view shows the left side, on the right and the right on the left. Like the view is reversed. Have you heard of this issue? Can you recommend a solution?

Hello! So the replacement you installed is also stock civic rear camera? Or is it an upgraded camera (like HD). I have an aftermarket android stereo that works with the stock camera however from suggestions in a civic forums the stock back up camera's are not HD that's why they are always hazy, grainy and unclear. An HD camera fixes the issue. So is your amazon link an HD version already? Thanks for your video.

I don't believe the camera ordered is HD. I believe it's just a regular one, but it works great and it's still working great to this day

Did this require any programming after install? Or did the grid lines show up ready to go just plug & play? Thanks in advance, currently dealing with the same issue so probably going to have to get a new camera

From the camera I bought on Amazon which the link is in the comments below. It did not have to be programmed. Just plug and play and a yellow lines were on the camera. Very easy to install
