Yes, since the chassis is the same, their manner is very similar. The manual may have a bit more engagement in terms of direct feel with the car, but the Automatic is probably the better rounded car.

Why are the wheels on your Trophy different? They look like the standard 18" that come with the 280 RS and not the 19" that come with the Trophy. It has the decal, but something tells me that's not

We run them on BBS wheels, since we are in partnership and on Michelin Tyres, also on a 18 inch for better on-track performance than the original 19's

@@RSRNurburg 18s 8j 225 45 18 preform better than 19s 8.5j 245 30 19... I have the megane RS remapped to 330 BHP on stage 1. Car came with 18s.... i hammer it around corners faster than this dude in your video, first driver in the Megane is absolute rubbish. 19s are WAY better... The only way its better than the orignal 19s it because of the horrible bridgestone tyres. Other than that... 19s have less flex, more grip etc and are hands down WAY better.

Sadly the RS Trophy isn't available at where I live but only the 280RS. I know this is far n totally different class but would you rather go with the RS or Kia Stinger?

Depends mainly what you use it for! The Megane for sure would be the more involving car to drive. We haven't had the chance to try out the Kia Stinger, but as it's a larger car, it's probably more suited to daily use for a family.

Megane RS Trophy is usually measured with 310-330PS.... hmmm.🤔 but I agree with the videos conclusion, Megane is more fun ultimately, Civic pot. slightly more perfect but not as fun to drive...!

This generation Megane RS is an excellent beginner car, with the automatic transmission I had a joy driving this on Spa as a rookie. I love the looks of the Civic Type R but when you’re doing 200km/h and have to go hard on the brakes, I certainly don’t want to risk having to fumble with a manual

The Megane is 13 seconds faster than the civic type r on the Nurburgring part of the videos see 20.03 (Megane passes the Audi sign) and 20.16 (Type R passes the same sign). I've no doubt these cars are very similar in their performance, but this seems to be quite a big difference. Was it traffic or tyres? This also seems to contradict what the driver says about the cars (Megane is more involving vs Honda more clinical) or am I missing something?
