Honda CRF250L - Leaking Fork Seals - Seal Doctor

Leaking fork seals on your Honda CRF250L? Not a problem. Use the fork seal doctor by Risk Racing to fix the leak! Sorry for the annoying humming sound. That's my massive desktop workstation computer. What can I say, I make my living off of using a computer....so it's massive.

My Rally leaked fork oil on to my front brakes and they were almost non existent. i saw another video where you said your front brake wasnt working well. mine lost all its bite no matter how hard I squeezed it.

Did you just replace the pads?

Excellent. Do you mind sharing exactly how you add more fork oil to the CRF250L? Do you just loosen that nut on top the fork with it in place? Thanks!

Yes, that is how I did it. Once you loosen the nut it will pop up the nut. the nut (bolt) is attached the a shaft. Lift it up slightly and pour in the extra oil. Do one side at a time. Good short term solution is topping them off with oil. Future goal should be to take the whole forks out and drain the old oil and do a re-seal job. It should be noted that it is pretty hard to gauge how much oil to add into the forks. You have to make an assumption about how much oil has leaked out from the seals...
