Much easier to either 1. On Passenger side, use a 19mm socket and scissor floor jack with a cordless impact driver to slightly raise car in 5 seconds. 2. Or, drive front wheels on two short 2 by 4 (or 2 by 6) to lift car 2 inches Consider adding once and for rest of car life a quick valve, such as Fumoto 106SX (many similar alternatives abound). Thus you never need tools again just to drain and refill engine oil. The metal shield can also be modified easily by cutting out a small piece by the oil filter, if so desired. Anyone running the undercapacity (less than 4qt) 4 cyl turbo with direct injection is best served with a 10w30 or 5w30 oil due to heavy dumping of fuel into the oil pan. Any modern synthetic oil is fine.

no scissor jack they are not the right too (emergency only) or even a piston jack I got. a floor jack sits under and stays put, a scissor jack will either fold, bend slip, been there and done that, and ask me how many times I tell a co-worker "Lock the wheel down and emergency brake agree a electronic jack can be used

@@fishycomics Apparently reading comprehension issues or lack of imagination. The purpose of the jack is to allow a quick raise on one (1) side only in 5 seconds via the cordless driver and socket. That jack can easily be supported by a stand for security. There is NO Need to go under the car once any type of quick valve has been installed as the lever or fluid release can easily be done with one hand without any danger from car (or jack)
