Honda CRV, Element, and Accord harsh shifting or no shifting solution.

Today we show a commond issue with Honda CRVs, Elements, and Accord shifting. When a harsh or erratic shift from 1st to 2nd of no shift at all. I will walk you through how to remove and test.

I did this test and yes, black plug solenoid was weak. Unfortunately they're Not cheap around here and for the EX transmission are harder to find cheap.

Would these be the problem as well if it doesn’t want to shift after the car warms up? My 2002 Acura TL will go into all the gears from a cold start. Then once warm, won’t shift into any gear.

It could be, the warmer the fluid gets the thinner it is and is harder for solenoids to push it if they're worn out. I would check the fluid and my sure it's good first. Also sometimes when electrical components heat up they will struggle

So that’s first to second gear right

The are different solenoid packs so it's going to depend on what your transmission is doing vs. What solenoids to replce.

You got to make your money, but it's still pathetic and corrupt telling a customer to repair the transmission when they know it's just a shift solenoid. I have no respect for dishonest people.
