Loads faster to just do 80% charges, that last 20% takes forever

Hey man! Are you able to play content through the fire stick whilst driving? I assumed that would be disabled when in “drive” mode but seems you were saying it could be played!?

Thank you for your efforts making this vid as it’s been very informative In the process of getting an EV but haven’t clicked the button yet, very torn now as don’t want the hassle of trying to find charging points. Mind you I guess If I’m mainly doing town driving it shouldn’t be a problem, Great video 🙌🏽

know this is an old video and you have probably figured it out already but when you use contactless on your phone it randomly generate a card number every time you scan it. I would assume the system they use try to match it to the card number that started the charge so it wasn't letting you go.

Good video man. Love the Honda E too. I’m currently driving a Mercedes diesel. Not going to lie it’s a little off-putting to see these issues and time taken to charge. Definitely adds time to the journey. Hopefully when I’m ready to go EV the infrastructure will be better.

I'm hoping as electric vehicles and PHEV's become the new norm, the EV infrastructure becomes a lot better, faster and readily available

Always good to know that this wee car can do long range if you need too. Also the UK needs to regulate these charge points, Why was it £11 and then £5 the other time, peak and off peak electric times perhaps?

I have no idea! Crazy Right!? Not sure what's going on with BP pulse charging points.

@@TechJamo From what i saw the nottingham charger was 55p a kilowatt vs 35p at milton keynes which is why it basically cost double
@HangingShoes2 жыл бұрын
When you want to leave you are using the RFID contact instead of the card contact that you used to start the charge, probably why it did not stop.

Hi, a possible answer as to why the charge point will not end the charge from your phone is because your using some sort of Google/Samsung/Apple Pay which will generate a disposable virtual card for every transaction (it’s to prevent fraud) so thats why you have that error, You need to use your physical card. Seems very expensive and quite poor efficiency at £22 for 52kWH of total energy to travel only 156miles. In comparison to a Tesla model 3 LR can do that whole journey for just over £6 if charged at home.Also I think your bp app needs updating to remove that error u was getting.

Very interesting video. It shows the work which still needs to be done to sort-out the UK charging network. Your good self (or any other EV users) should NOT have to drive around trying to find a working charger. Beyond this, I am mulling-over buying an EV myself. But (whilst I really like the Honda E) I would like to buy an EV with a longer range and a bit more passenger and luggage capacity. So I am mulling over a Kia Soul EV or a Kia E Niro. But I need to gather enough of my pennies together before I make the purchase !! Keep up the good work and keep posting the great videos !!

Thanks!! Yeah I love the Honda E, but that range makes it hard to chose over a more practical long range alternative 😭
