Honda Element Intercooler Install | Turbo Toaster Part 5: Intercooler Plumbing/Installation

In this video, I will be installing an intercooler on my honda element as well as routing all of the intercooler piping. This process can be tricky if you don't have the right equipment because depending on the route you go you might have to do some custom fabrication. In my case, I made a custom bracket to mount the intercooler in a spot that was accessible for my piping. It can be tricky routing tubes around these cars, but if you follow my guide in this video, then you will not have a problem.

Hey quick question: i was planning on installing the Speedfactory tucked radiator on my element where you installed your FMIC. Do you think it could fit? it's 5 1/2" thick with the fans.

5 1/2" is pushing it but if you can find a way to get the condenser out of the way I'm sure it is possible. Trimming up the bumper will be a necessity for sure.

What thickness intercooler is that? 2.5"? Also do you think it's easy to move the condenser back an inch?

It is 2.5" thick and I think moving the condenser back will be possible but tedious. I believe you will have to drill new holes for the bolts on the subframe to move it back.
