Thanks for this...I was able to use the concepts here to unfreeze the piston in my master cylinder on my 2003 GW. It's as good as new.

Mine was full of gelatin but luckily the piston was still moving. I just cleaned out the reservoir and flushed the lines but now my front brakes are dragging and have destroyed one of my rotors. Guess it's time to pull it all apart and fix it right. Thanks for the video.

Many things of this size and nature have 10mm fasteners.

@Tom Asay there are only 2 wrenches that are needed for general purposes and a filp screw driver. I got my own tool kit I carry under my seat. I created myself since honda Kits are not worth having.i don't have Goldwing, but few things fit my model , which is nice.

Would there be any reason that I can't pop off that top Reservoir without removing the whole master cylinder unit? All I want to do is make sure that the holes in the reservoir are not plugged. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm a little late but yes you can pop off the reservoir while the setup is attached to the bars. The only problem is whatever you break loose is going to end up in your caliper.

I took a chance with mine, it works great! Make a judgement call when you have it apart. Thanks for watching!
