Do you guys know if this luggage rack will fit on the new 2022 Grom? Also if so, would you post a link to to which one it exactly is, please and thank you!
@leadfarmer732 жыл бұрын
No my friend. It doesn’t. I purchased this rack when i first bought my 2022 sp and the WHOLE under seat bolt pattern is completely different. None of the gear that he is using in this video will fit on the 2022 grom. I hope they start making more accessories for the 2022 soon.

Any issues with the exposed forks where the front wheel fender usually protects?
@easadventures13494 жыл бұрын
So far nothing has happened, but I also had the same concern. I had a different type of fender but I took it off after a little while, and just never out the old one back on.
@harrisdoesthings4 жыл бұрын
@@easadventures1349 good to know! i've had bad experience before with forks so i always try to cover them up, if possible i'd use the cheap rubber boots that cover the entirety of the forks, that way you can run the fender-less look still

Cage and skid plate used here. I have the same scratch damage from falling as him and I skid hard as hell so a quarter of the right bolt is sanded down along with the corner of the skidplate. The thing that DOES occur with these that they don't tell you is you WILL damage your front fender if you bottom out with the skid plate on. I have a decal on mine so you can't really see it but yee your front fender will get two huge gashes from the bolts that hold the cage on. STILL LOVE MINE! Nothing happens to forks. Edit: My Grom is in my picture lol.

That's awesome. I'd like to do something like this but all these mods sound expensive and that's not even getting into improving the suspension or engine. I suppose you might get the money back in fuel savings eventually. Wish someone sold a small displacement dual sport with ABS in the USA.
@RKmndo3 жыл бұрын
Honda also makes a CRF250L-CRF300L, and the Rally versions. I believe they're offered with ABS. The CB500X is offered with ABS. Yamaha offers an SR400 that may be available with ABS, and could be modded into a scrambler. Suzuki offers a TU250X that may be available with ABS, and could also be modded into a scrambler. Their VanVan may also be available with ABS. Benelli sells a Leoncino Trail 500 scrambler that is available with ABS.
