As always another detailed informative video. I just replaced the fuel pump with an aftermarket one. The stock one works off pulses from the alternator and if left sitting for too long it will stop working. The fuel evaporates in the pump causing the diaphragms to stick. I've taken two apart to fix them. I mounted a small quiet fuel pump on the exhaust heatshield keeping the filter in the same place. I have a Mikuni vacuum fuel pump I use on my airplanes that I am going to put on my wife's Helix to give it a try.

Just bought a 86 Helix that is needs a full going over like you are showing in the video. I am not new to motorcycles or scooters and have had a BWS Zuma 50cc in Canada, SYM RV250 and a 2015 Burgman 650 executive. I so appreciate your video on the Helix as it is getting me in tune with the awesome scoot and what I might find under the plastics. Most every bike or scoot that I have had has been a home for rodents at one time dating back to my first restoration at the age of 18 of an 1973 Suzuki barn find with a mouse nest in the exhaust pipe that prevented the engine from starting. I was so happy to find your first video on removing the plastics what a blessing and I had to stop here at book #3 and post a comment. Thanks from Canada

@@rubytheelite I have subscribed for sure and I binged watched all the Helix content yesterday and then watched your come back video this morning. My wife and I are headed to the Texas heat in a couple of weeks to lend support for our son and his family with the birth of there 3rd child. I hope to be bringing back a suit case of parts that I will be needing. Do you have any experience with the after market plastic from California sellers or eBay?

What website do you use for your genuine Honda parts? I’m slowly restoring an 1992 helix and these videos have been extremely helpful! Thank you so much for posting them!
