Do you ride? What's the weather like where you live? I live in Portugal, and own a scooter, and it's terrible to ride in the rain, and when it's cold. I would probably not own a scooter if I lived in the UK.

Tossers like this guy are part of the reason motorcycle sales are struggling in Britain these days. He's supposed to be an ambassador for motorcycling and here he's saying it's too cold to use them in Britain. What a bell end.

I've just bought one and it's a hoot - great fun to ride and has good weather protection. Only time I wouldn't ride is in snow or ice - and I'm FEMALE and wouldn't say that I'm 'well 'ard' for one moment, probably more of a Jessie if I'm honest!! What a nonce this guy is!! Nice to see some scooter coverage - whilst we dismiss these as "just scooters" and therefore never see or seek out reviews we'll never "get" what the Europeans see in them. I'd like to have seen more of the luxury features mentioned. Fully agree with Phil's comments on them really being a good-weather city thing (but also take the point that all motorcycles are horrible in poor weather)......

I have a 2017 model here in Thailand and it's a great upgrade from a basic scooter like a Honda Click or PCX. Yes the weather is a help too! The latest version from 2019 does not have the gorgeous curves and flowing lines of this model in my opinion, but does have some improvements - shorter, lighter, keyless.

I am a forza 300 and there is a vibration issue at 65mph (u.s.a.). its amazing how many positive reviews this thing is getting...take for a ride for 10 minutes and it get a positive review!! stupid ignorant crap..yes you have a "two helmet" storage but the seat doesn't fully lift so you sort of sliding items in..hassle....suspension in rear is strait up and down so the ride is stiff and bumpy... belt vibrations at faster speeds...LOOK who do you reviewers work for???hmmmmm....

I think you missed the point of this scooter. The thing is there to provide protection from the weather. Hence, legs tucked in behind the bodywork, a (higher) screen to help keep the weather off your upper body. So obvious. How come you don't see it? Very Amateur, Phil.

Haha thanks mate. Personally I'd buy an SH300i over this. The SH is lighter, makes better power and has bigger wheels. I imagine this Forza is more comfy. It has more seat storage and better fuel economy.

I did 10,000 miles on a scooter last year, and 10,000 miles on my CBR1000RR this year commuting. In a shirt and tie. In Arizona. Every day. People do it - not often, but we're out here. :)

As an ex biker over the last 12 months there was only about 2 days where i couldn't commute because of the snow. I even passed my test in the middle of winter. Not a true biker! Lol

We didn't see the space he talked of, we didn't see the features he hinted at. Instead of showing video of him, you could have showed us the luggage space and the features. Instead of washing time selecting dull music, you could have filmed the space and features. Useless review because nothing of use was shown.

Slightly strange analysis at the end. He would love it if he lived in a warm climate but not in the UK (Derbyshire etc) . By that rationale doesn't the same apply to every other motorcycle of whatever type or size ? Nice in the spring & summer, cold & wet in the winter ? This wasn't a review in any way. Pretty poor from MCN.

300cc scooter with space for 2 helmets and more on the cockpit, very confortable place to ride very economical engine and handle great speeds of 100 to 120 kmph... Is one 300cc so is not one Torque monster but you can be shure that have enaught Torque to ride with two persons and without the Drama of one 125cc 4stroke for exemple i guess its a reasonable bike for 1 Cil 300cc..

Yes but he still went to Spain to review a scooter, fully knowing that he was going to write it off... Oh and you can commute roughly 8-9 months of the year if you're hardy, and most motorcyclists wouldn't ride the other 3-4 due to ice and cold anyway, so I don't see the argument.

No, not really when compared to the rest of the world where many professionals commute daily on scooters and bikes. When in the commuting context, he words make sense. If you only get to ride fewer days out of the year, there really isn't much reason to buy such a dedicated commuter-speed, not-so-fun-on-off-days bike.
