People do not understand how much importance weight management holds in a motorcycle. And I think Honda is doing very good in this field for all their bikes. I rode my friends CB350 and it is way way easier to ride compared to my classic 350. I kinda started regretting my decision to own RE after I rode that bike. Just this weight management can completely change the character of the bike and I agree with Bulu bhaiya on the points he discussed in his video.

Very happy that a KZbinr is finally talking about the importance of weight management because it is the most important quality dealt with on a daily basis. I am happy that you put a great emphasis on practicality rather than many useless factors as done by instagrammers(not riders). You are a true rider. I am tired of telling people that RE bikes simply put unnecessary strain in handling the bike when the engine is cut-off.

Bullu bhai I have not owned a bike in 30 years and have lived abroad. But rented a moto cross whenever I was traveling to far eastern countries. Love the off road and trails but never hard core. Did the Leh circuit on himmy 411 and I loved the ride. Now living permanently in india I want to buy just one bike to do adventure and also long rides am not so young at 60 but can outride a 30 year old for a fun ride. I had confidence issues in himmy when I did solo like parking retrieval and in very slow speed in trail the bike did not balance well. I never fell but was challenging. So I thought maybe it’s me who can’t handle the balance in trails in himmy. Now I see it’s possible to overcome with a better engineered bike. So what do I suggest for me. Second question is solo riding not recommended for longer rides like Delhi to Goa for example. Some people said always travel in group. How do you find groups in india. Sorry for two long questions
@BuluBiker8 ай бұрын
Hi sir that is exactly where u need a bike that feels light n practical. Sir highway solo rides r not an issue but plz ride only from morning 6 to evening 6 n share live location with Family. Take a RSA support for whichever bike u buy. Never discuss too much where u stop for food, drinks etc, just try to be reserve n if anyone asks u anything, just say we r a group of five people n I am the faster one so waiting for others to arrive... these things should be good. Everything is good when u r on highways like Delhi n Goa. Its safe. Do not take shortcut roots to save time. But still its better to be with one more rider, that will make the Journey little more fun with an intercom u can have lots of motorcycle discussions 😁

Every bike and its brand has its characteristics, Honda is the master of reliability, and quality, there is no doubt about it. That being said RE is has its own characteristics, its consumers like metal, chrome, vibration and heaviness, of the machine. I remember people of my father's generation saying that the RE classic model released nowdays is lighter than the ones they bought in the 1980~90's, sound is not satisfying etc etc. so the comparison between RE and honda is between apples to oranges. There is no point in doing so!!!! Also Bulu da has a bias against RE which he himself mentions, so he disliking RE and nitpicking about them is also normal. Ultimately we must keep in mind about the price difference between these two motorcycle. Thus, proving that comparing these two is completely idiotic and makes no sense. Also if people think that a bike shouldn't have engine noise and have no vibration on the bike's body, then what would they say about BMW's boxers?? are they engineered less?? do they have less R&D done to them??

Nice review. 2 questions. Is Suzuki V Strom 650 still selling in India? If yes is it comparable to that? I currently have Standard 500 and thinking to upgrade. So watching all your videos on YT. Even did a test drive. Just decision making is pending

I think vstorm 650 is not selling now, n its quite expensive as well. But I kind of like the versys over vstorm

Sorry to say Bulu Bhai we Indians are more emotionally driven and most of the time we follow the trend blindly but very few understand what you are explaining.

Bulu bhai. I don't think Honda big bikes service cost will be on par with premium brands. As far as I heard, Honda is the only premium brand which has affordable prices to maintain a bike. For eg, I heard that gold wing service costs not more than 10k so in that case, NX500 should not cost more than 4k. Also you haven't told us about 1st free service at 1000 km as your bike crossed 2k km. Happy for your bike. Its a mile muncher for sure.

Yes yes I mean spare costs r cheaper than other big brands

@@BuluBiker also this bike has become my favourite but currently not in my list. I felt the same weight balance issue in meteor 350 as well when compared to cb350 hence going with cb350 for it's reliability. Will clock around 1L km before switching to another bike as this is gonna be my first bike.❤️ Wish me all the luck. Lots of love to you❤️❤️

4k 😂 bro. For highness I am spending 15k per annum. What are you talking. 😢 Be ready to pay 25-30k. Tyre itself is 30k. Chain sprocket. Engine oil brake pads . No way.

@@BuluBiker thanks, I can consider this one if it handles this aspect well as most of the roads around are badly broken once you are off the highway and on ghats around Pune and across Maharashtra though very scenic :-)

LOL people who are comparing a 8.5 lakh rupee vehicle to an RE itself shows the desperation. With the price range, it should be compared with a Triump or Kawasaki. If Honda can bring down the to RE level, then we will talk about compitation kids.
