That’s a pretty well done how to video. Although the guide pin with the anti rattle bushings location upper or lower depends on whether a caliper is leading or trailing in relation to the brake disc. They shouldn’t be opposites across one axle. You defo don’t need a high level scantool for epb functions. A basic service function scantool will do it just fine. The Autel maxicheck pro is under 200 and has most of the functions a diy’er will need including epb, dpf, srs, abs, sas, bms, oil reset, it also does most cars out there. Mine was 165 uk.

thank you for showing the manual way to release the EPB. I'm surprised to see the caliper is TRW and not ASIN Honda used for many years. TRW is likely lower cost.

I usually clean the old grease out from the housing of the guide pins and the rubber boots and pack them with fresh grease.

Can you do a video on doing a coolant flush and re fill? Love your channel. Been saving big bucks by doing the maintenance on my honda oddysey 2019😊👍🏻👍🏻

Hi there, I will surely make a video when the service is due. But it will be later as my mileage is still relatively low.

The Honda "philips" screw is actually not a philips. It's a JIS #3 which is different than phillips in that it's designed not to cam out when the torque increases. If you get stuck, get a JIS #3 impacting screwdriver to help get it out. A regular philips screwdriver does not actually match this screw and you are much more likely to strip it, necessitating a drill out.

Yes. Totally optional to put it back once out. It doesn't serve any purpose. Honda uses it to keep the rotors in place as the car travels in the factory line.
