First mistake and mechanic can make. Just letting the caliper hang by the hose. You never let the caliper hang from the brake line hose.

There's not that much stress on the hose.

That's a myth. Those calipers are not that heavy these days and the hoses are stronger than they get credit for.

The separation of inner bearing race happened to me as well. You pushed in the inner bearing race. Is it OK to leave it like that? Did you notice any issues afterwards? Do you have the link to the puller you used to remove the stuck inner bearing race? Thank you for posting the video!

Odd...my '99 Honda Odyssey EX has drum brakes in rear.

Think Honda went to rear discs starting in 2002.

I've had the same problem with my new assembly. It's a Duralast. What was yours? I've since found out that this is typical for Duralast. They aren't made to OEM specs. Stay away from Duralast rear hub assembly and things will be better than my experience.

You're absolutely right about Duralast. Total POS. I can tell you one story after another where the part failed a few days after installation. The bearing in this video was provided by the customer.

With Japanese cars, their bolt and nuts sizes are consistent: 10, 12, 14, 17, 19 mm. Just by looking, I know what size socket or box wrench to reach for. Do repairs long enough, it becomes second nature.
