Siri Lindegaard actually, gentle corrections are helpful and necessary when trying to learn a language. Being corrected by a native speaker is actually quite nice as long as they aren't an asshole about it. It's much more cruel to let them go on being incorrect because then they continue being wrong until they run into someone who's a jerk about it.
