Thanks for this video! I was having trouble with my PCX150 sputtering during acceleration, so I changed out the spark plug (which was rusty from the ethanol). Now, it runs like new!

Mitch i've just discovered and subscribed yesterday your PCX videos have helped me in my research so much, I'm looking to become a self-sufficient PCX 125 rider next week, so thank you for these videos, especially the torque settings! can I donate to you somehow? I'd love to see you do more videos on the new PCXs, would you ever do vids on valve clearance/clutch/breather/front suspension? Take care man x

Does the bolt have to sit flush against the engine? Update: I broke the new spark plug inside the screw hole. I’ll be extracting it this weekend after my proper tools get delivered.

On my 2021 (71 Plate) PCX 125 the spark plug installed by Honda is an NGK LMAR8L-9 as stated on the plug. Am I correct in assuming code NGK CPR7EA-9 has the same dimensions? The spark plug Honda installed is more expensive but can find little info if its better quality.

Hey, I love your videos. Thank you very much for all the help. I have a 2019 PCX 150 and the fuel pump is only getting 7 V to it. I’ve checked the battery is fully charged and I’m just not getting any fuel in the pumping into the engine, I have the whole thing taken apart. I’ve checked the relays. They’re all fine. I don’t know if you’ve had any experience or could help. I appreciate it. Thank you.

I've watched a few of your videos and appreciate them. I will point out, however, that you are using the torque wrench slightly incorrectly. When using that beam-type torque wrench, neither end of the handle should be touching the bar. The handle should be "floating" so the torque is transmitted from the handle pivot point. That is how that wrench was designed and calibrated. Granted, for this type of work, it is definitely close enough. But thought I should mention it for others' benefit. Thank you.

Hi there, thank you for your videos, they are very helpful. I have installed a denso iu22, a iridium spark plug and torqued it at 12 Nm. Do you think I should tighten it to 16 nm?
@ducnguyenminh61652 жыл бұрын
you should torque the plug to 16Nm for the best spark, too tight the plug may hit the piston and damage the engine. otherwise you'd get weak spark and the plug may come off the engine due to compression

My pcx 125 goes so slowly from 1st gear, like when i start or when i am traffic lights and i accelerate it takes few seconds to gain speed. Its not how it used to be. What do u think? Should i change plug or the cap. Because the mechanic added some liquid to clean cap few days ago and i think he forgot to dry it and attached to the plug and since then i have had this issue. Please help.
