My 2003 Honda Pilot had clicking noise when the cabin temperature setting was between max cold and max hot. Moverover, I did not had temperature control beside max cold and max hot. After I cleaned the temperature blend door actuator and re-grease it with dielectric grease. Problem solved. It saved me some money to buy a new actuator.
