I just did my 09 Pilot one of those 2 plugs that are left over. 1 of them has to be for the rear amp and speakers. Only have the 2 front on.

after you connect you bluetooth> from the Home Screen press on the CarPlay icon and that should do it , and each time you start the car it should connect automatically
