Hello! I also camp out in my good old Honda Pilot - my setup is not nearly as fancy as yours, but it works and I love it. I watched your video and noticed the beautiful foliage, *however* I believe you were looking at Giant Hogsweed, the tall plant with the huge leaves and frilly white flowers at the top… “Giant hogweed is native to the western Caucasus region of Eurasia. It was introduced to Britain as an ornamental plant in the 19th century, and has also spread to other areas in Western Europe, the United States, and Canada.[2] Its close relatives, Sosnowsky's hogweed and Persian hogweed, have similarly spread to other parts of Europe. The sap of giant hogweed is phototoxic and causes phytophotodermatitis in humans, resulting in blisters and scars. These serious reactions are due to the furanocoumarin derivatives in the leaves, roots, stems, flowers, and seeds of the plant. Consequently, it is considered to be a noxious weed in many jurisdictions.” - per wikipedia Just a heads-up on that nasty plant - be careful out there! If you touch the plant you could end up with serious burns that horribly re-emerge when sunlight hits them - it can apparently re-occur for years 😮

It's taken us to so many wonderful places, we love it too.🌲❤️ Thank you for bringing awareness to Giant Hogsweed and the importance of studying plant species. The camera angle makes this plant appear much larger in the video; It's actually substantially smaller than Giant Hogsweed at about 4' tall. We identified it to be a native plant, Cow Parsnip due to size, appearance & lack of red-flecked or reddish-purple stems. That being said, when in doubt, treat it like it's poisonous. Even though this it's a native plant, it may have potential to cause skin irritation or ill effects. Thank you for the reminder of the importance of researching and learning plants before heading to the beautiful outdoors as well as the importance of reporting invasive plant species.
