(www.MrTruck.com) Part 3 Honda Pioneer 500 side by side UTV accessory review part 3. We took it to Rampart Range off road park near Sedalia CO. It's a motorcycle trail that's suppose to now be big enough for 50 in side by sides. Not really, my Pioneer 500 is 50 inches and fit all the size gates at the trail. but the tree branches are about 45 inches. So I was eating bark and twigs all day. The Pioneer is a tank and went everywhere. Even when I tipped over on a hidden tree truck, it wasn't damaged, I used the Honda winch to upright it.

One trick lots of guys with the P500's have done and I did as well is remove the rear sway bar. Actually helps ya in the slower technical parts because your rear tires can articulate independently of each other. And it rides a ton smoother.

Rampart is a sweet place. Miss it. Central Michigan has comparable trails, but not as long. Rampart was the only trail system where I've had people in my party come away with: injuries (hospital), wrecked an ATV beyond repair, got lost for 4 hours at night in the winter, and ran out of gas (1 guy, and he was warned he might not have enough). Quite a fun place.

Good video. I know this is an older video, but I was wondering if you had any pics/video of the Yutrax seat mounted on the rack. I've looked at it, but I'm concerned about the height. I don't want peoples heads above the roof.

What about the noise? I added a 11 decibel silencer, it helped, then rhino-liner to top heat baffle plate, helped a bit. But it's still really noisy. Any ideas?

Yes, they rattle, whine, just plain loud all around! Compare that to a Can Am. I love this Honda P500, but it's twice as noisy as a Can Am. Just hoping pros like you may have solutions. I'm told a heavier weight gear oil helps a bit. But the rear engine area is brutal.

Yeah it was started as a bike trail and the bikers have an attitude with ATV's.

Sorry, but after trying my best to listen, I still can't understand what kind of side mirrors you have. Moo...something. Can you provide a link? (The stick stoppers from Strong Made, I understood). Thanks for the P5oo review.

First ones where from Ford, then a Dodge truck and my F150 hit mirrors on a narrow road. Second pair is Chinese

I've had the Pioneer 500 in my cross-hairs multiple times. Great little machine; however, with the governor set at 43-45mph - it is a tad slow for my needs. NOT that I want to run 65moh all day long, but would like to cruise at 45-50 without the engine screaming for mercy.

Yes, I wanted faster and put taller tires on it. From 12 in to 14 in. It's a little faster and looks way better

As a P-500 hundred owner, I'd be willing to limit the top speed to 15mph if I could cut the noise to near zero.

Those smaller sxs are fun, I prefer riding with the Jeep's on the larger trails. Those 50" trails are a joke.

Yes, the 50 in that we've tried this year and last, are the more difficult ones. I like a wider trail so I can day dream
