They should have made it without one. At all. An LCD/OLED strip with a single chip inside - that's it. The tiny thing they could just throw somewhere. All I need is is to see Neutral, Lights, Oil. and Hot/Trouble. Speed - meh. Fuel - maybe. But not much of a use if it since it's 200km of range. You are on constant reserve.
@filipmach353 жыл бұрын
I've got both digital and analog in my car and I'm thankful the digital is there just because the needle is so short, tiny and same colour as the background - you basically can't see it. But tacho - it's a different story. Every vehicle should have an analog one ;-) and completely agree with you, Sir, Rebel would be great with analog.

I love the way the Ninja 400 did it. Analogue tac so you always have a clear view of where the limit was, digital everything else since a digital speedo gives better accuracy.

Where Honda cut corners on this bike, I understand why they did. I also understand where they choose to come with the goods and give the bike some guts and swagger. I think the new Rebel is ultimately redeemed by the blank slate approach Honda took. Anyone keen to mod or tweak the Rebel's style or performance will find a veritable motorcycle hobby kit of easy options to make the bike their own in ride and curb appeal. And at the price point, I think Honda nailed it. This is, after all, the company that brought us the Cub.

Easy to use and reasonable can be enjoyed by seasoned riders, as long as don't get boring too quickly. I really appreciate these reviews. Funny and enjoyable, yet gets down to the serious points that need to be made. I’ve been interested in the Indian scout for quite some time and I’ve seen many many reviews on it but the only high quality ones that I’ve seen, I feel that the people behind the review seem a little bit payed off. If I were to see a single review from FortNine; however, then I would have no doubts on whether or not it would be a worthy bike to start on. I would also like to know if it would be worthy to keep further into my experience.

Hey Josef - we might be in luck! I've been trying to get my hands on a Scout for a while now, and it looks like it will happen this year :) ~RF9

Picked up a Rebel500 SE 2024, couldn't be more happy with the bike. First thing i did was replace the ugly exhaust with a Musarri GP slip on, the bike looks and sounds beautiful. Rides smooth, handles extremely well, light as a feather. You would have to be very careless to drop or lay it down, its a really friendly bike that almost anyone could ride. At 5 8" i find the bike comfortable, no issues with the seat at all. I think anyone who is 6"+ will start to feel cramped without a forward control mod, higher seat and maybe a handlebar mod. Vibration at highway speeds wasn't even noticeable, must be a issue Honda solved with newer Rebel models. No windscreen so you get a bit of pushback on the highway, nothing too serious but i could see it becoming very annoying on long trips. Plenty of aftermarket windscreen options available which will be my next mod. One of the things i personally love about the rebel500 is it's a great bike for a novice/intermediate rider and also nice enough to be a keeper. They also made the rear brake like smaller and rounded the edges. lol. Great review, helped me a lot when making the decision.

It's not ONE OF my fave movies, it is literally my favourite movie. I watched it when it first came out and I still watch it occasionally even now, all my kids and grandkids have been MADE to watch it, though they were all grateful afterwards! Come out to play!

Just now seeing this video- kudos on the review, the editing, and especially the Warriors! My god I want to watch this over and over! I couldn’t help but think of anyone unfamiliar with the movie every time the bottles started clicking together, lol! GREAT GREAT JOB!

I tried to buy a rebel 500 when they first came out. But my credit wasn’t where it should’ve been I was just getting started in life. Three years later I’m still wanting this bike so I’m going to pay cash for it next week. Really looking forward to riding it. This review was awesome it just makes me even more excited to finally get my bike. I’m getting the 500

Perfect beginner bike. I got one for my short lady learning to ride. The new Rebel has many improvements like the gage display. Theres still plastic but I like the reliabilty, comfort, simplicity, ease of operation, powerful sporty engine for its size, and low weight. All at a reasonable cost.

As other's have mentioned in pretty much all of your videos: just outstanding production quality, well thought and honest analysis, great narrator and presenter. A joy to watch and listen. This is without a doubt the best motorcycle channel on youtube. I am so SICK of some dude strapping a go-pro to his helmet and "going for ride while I give you guys my thoughts". It's so sad that some of those videos, which took literally the time duration of the ride to make, have more views than Fortnine.

I'm positive that's what they were shooting for... In every scene the bike is saying that to him then he walks up to it and says something to it.

Your production quality has come so far. These old videos are good, but they pale in comparison to masterpieces that you put out today!
