I have this same bike. Fully stock. No windshield, no saddle bags just me and 45 horses and the black top. I would love to have the cruse control though. Very nice bike man!

One of the most reliable cruisers by far. They're also easy on the eyes too. I love Shadows. Great bikes.

I have a 2009. It will go 110 with a windshield, I get 52 to 60mpg depending on mountains or basin riding. But, it's not a highway bike. It needs a 6th gear, and it's a little light on its feet at 70. Put a passenger on the back, and she will feel every bump on the road. If you want a highway bike, go bigger. After 150 miles, you are spent on this bike. It's super-reliable, and fun for whipping around town. SDBrockets, this is a very nice video.

The baggers are cool but if I need all those creature comforts I'll just drive my dang car. Riding should be about riding, not trying to build a recliner on wheels. To each their own.

Nice bike. I have the exact same. Mines a 2007. I love it, can't get enough riding time. I'd like to talk to the owner and find out where he got his saddle bags and other accessories. I have a smaller set of saddleman bags right now but what he has on his bike would be much better and larger and lockable too. Cheers!

Awesome, thanks for the response! I'm about 5'8 and looking to move to either a 750, 1100, or a 1200. I'm currently on a Shadow 600. It's comfortable and fun, but on longer rides it's a bit cramped.

Youi motorcycle liiks like my 2001 VT750DC. We have the same LeatyherLyke Saddlebags. Where did you get your Luggage Rack and who is ther manufacturer. I have the large LeatherLyke Cruiser Case. The rack I have is too small. It looks like yours would fit. I also did the mod on with the 38T sprocket, took out chain links, and changed the clutch springs. I didn't do the timing advance yet. Now I don't need to look for a 6th gear at highway speeds. Did you do the pipes or the hole-saw mod on the stock pipes? Check out the other suggested mods at: www.vt750dc.com/mods-and-info Ride safe!
@SBDrockets7 жыл бұрын
This bike has the hole saw mod with adjusted carb screws to allow more fuel into the motor to balance the extra air let in, and my rack is from Cobra
