A lot of time and effort involved in doing this mod - much easier purchasing a later model single pipe and fabricating a 2" flat bracket - it sounds better, looks great and strips off a good amount of weight.

@Stocksy Yeah it sure does but shame about the lack of power. that's the only reason i wouldn't buy one. i'm used to 140 hp and wouldn't get anything less cause the grin factor is not going to be as good. sometimes i'm even wanting more power esp when i get challenged by some of today's modern sports cars. my bike does 0-100 mph in just under 6 seconds yet still had a Porsche Carrera following real close to my ass after i flawed it onto a straight. from 60 mph to 100 mph it takes my bike just 3 seconds and that Porsche was not being left behind. it didn't have enough power to over take me though and i saw 170mph come up in no time before a bend slowed us up. this VFR would be left WAY behind by most cars that have over 350 hp. the Porsche that challenged me probably had at least 600 hp and that's enough to stick with most 750cc + sports bikes and then beat them on top speed.
