hi i just did a stage 1 on my fk8 2021 with injen cold air intake and the maf gets out of range when i pull the thotle and the ECU turns off the turbo (the turbo is limited by pressure) this maf will solve the problem? The dyno gave a nice 392HP PS: i dont want to re scale the maf values

Now lets get some more upgraded internal stock turbos, aka hybrid turbos, to show what they can do! Is 500whp the new limit? 550whp??? 600whp?????

No. Different computer, different sensor. They work together. Might just need a slight tweak, but for now this is CTR only.

Will this upgrade be worth it on a stock turbo? Currently running full bolt ons with Meth.

Get the near $3k fuel system upgrade if you don't already have it, and then this MAF, and you should be completely prepared and safe from banging on the limit of the stock MAF, with no matter what mods you have. When you go hybrid/larger turbo, you will be very happy.

Do not use Hondat fuel system Use Xdi hpfp, FK8 Tuning Development injectors, modified high pressure line from FK8 Tuning Development and a DW300c intank pump For the maf use a Rampage 4" Mega MaF housing for more scaling Im making 550whp on 4" maf housing with enough room to go to probably 700whp or so

@@TheFK8LifeI want to hit just 420 whp, currently fbo on 93 with custom tune. Doing 370. I want to install hondata fuel system, (still run on 93) and a radiator with heat wraps and blankets to hit my marker

From the description it says 60% more with the stock air box. So what if you have the PRL HVI with race MAF housing And Rampage RS550 turbo will this MAF500 be an improvement?

Dont need this Use Rampage 4" Mega MAF housing with stock sensor Im making 550whp - I would make around 585-590 on the dyno Hondata uses

Why not just rescale the original mass air flow sensor?

@@Jdo-pg1lk so if the stock MAF sensor is 5 volt and this new one can read 60% more. Is this thing like 8 volts or something
@Jdo-pg1lk2 жыл бұрын
@@b20vtec83 It's still 5V. But it's would be more accurate with a proper maf when you try to read beyond the specified range. When you scale it's kind of doing a educated guess.
@Bravo1011112 жыл бұрын
@@b20vtec83 Hi Thomas, if you understand how a MAF works, and I'm sure you do, (the resisted "hot wire" gets cooled by the air flowing over it, therefor allowing more voltage to flow through the wire and this provides the voltage reading which can be interpreted as an air flow volume expressed in g\s.), then since both stock and MAF500 have 5v max outputs... I think the scaling is possibly linked to the strength of the resistor in the MAF500's "hot wire". I would imagine that more air needs to be moving over the MAF500 to obtain the same voltage output. i.e. 5v on stock maf = ~292g\s (maxed out) VS Maf500 flowing ~481 g\s at 5v HTH

Use Rampage 4" mega maf housing - plenty of scaling to read 700whp

Trying to tune my 2022 accord sport 2.0t but should I install type r turbo before or after tube
@copperkeyracing61672 жыл бұрын
Best bang for your buck path is: basemap tune, flex fuel kit and a different basemap tune, downpipe and yet another different basemap tune, CTR turbo and custom tune. You should be at 350whp, give or take 10whp. Finally, add a 3" or better full exhaust, and a drop in filter. Intercooler may also need upgrading if you do back to back pulls/racing. Edit: Dont forget lighter wheels and tires and you should be at 370whp.

I'm sorry you can't enjoy the modding world any longer. It's my beef with electric cars. I enjoy modding for hp. All you can do is chip/tune/jailbreak that car, and that's it. No battery upgrade, no electric motor upgrade. Weight savings is there though, but relative to the body, it's not much.

I have a Type R and a Model Y myself. I honestly prefer driving the CTR. Sure the Tesla has that quick acceleration that impresses your buds in the vehicle, autopilot/FSD, cameras etc, but IMO, the CTR is something I’d never give up.
